31 YEARS AT CONCRETE THEATRE… A BITTERSWEET GOODBYE

31 YEARS AT CONCRETE THEATRE… A BITTERSWEET GOODBYE

by Mieko · Nov 28, 2020

Bittersweet is truly the best way to describe stepping down as Artistic Director from Concrete Theatre. As a co-founder and a part of the Artistic Leadership at the company for its entire 31 year history to date, I have had the pleasure of seeing this company grow from a tiny sprout to the healthy mid-sized company that it has become today. I am very grateful that I will be able to join my fellow co-founder Caroline Howarth as an Artistic Associate to complete my work on ongoing projects such as SONGS MY MOTHER NEVER SUNG ME and PIA AND MARIA, however I am also completely thrilled to see what the next Co-Artistic Team of Corben Kushneryk and Tracy Carroll will dream up next. Check out the press release for full details.
